Sam started building homes in 1978 and has proven to be a strong and honest leader of Calhoun County and the Alabama Building Industry. He has depended on his customers to recommend him for his God given gift of building and creating, so he has been dependable. Sam has developed many communities of homes that have enhanced Calhoun County and the lives of his customers. He knows the concerns that take people through each stage of making the decisions on one of their biggest investments, a home for their family.
Sam is a Licensed and Insured General and Residential Builder. He is a long time member of the local Greater Calhoun County Home Builders Association as well as the State of Alabama Home Builder Association and the National Association of Home Builders. Sam’s wife Celia, is the broker/owner of the Real Estate Office in Jacksonville, AP Real Estate. The family operated company markets new and existing homes as well as other properties. Sam has always encouraged responsible workmanship, the industry in general is in need of craftsman. He recognizes his ability as God given and wants others to use their gifts in this vital Industry.
Sam and Celia have two daughters Melissa and Crystal, both graduates of Jacksonville State University. Melissa teaches Elementary Education, her husband, Duff Wagoner is a REALTOR at AP Real Estate and has a teaching degree as well, they have three children Sam-Parker, Thompson and Madison. Crystal worked with the American Red Cross and now is currently being a work at home mom, and her husband John-Paul Werner is an account manager with RJ Reynolds, Inc. and a REALTOR with AP Real Estate as well. They have two children Deacon and Mary Collins. We are all supporters of Calhoun County and reside in the Jacksonville area.
