Sam is a native of Calhoun County who understands the area that he serves as a licensed builder/remodeler. He has been a proud part of the building industry for decades. Sam has been honored to serve on the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce Board and has been an active member of the Home Builder Association leading as president for four terms and receiving the honor as “Builder of the Year” on four occasions with the Calhoun County Association; on the State Home Builder level he has also received “Builder of the Year” for the State of Alabama, and the Presidents Award for his work in membership state wide. He also supports the industry through committee involvements and political awareness and has been involved in many projects and developments that have enhanced growth to the Calhoun County Communities that he serves. He takes much pride in his work and considers his customers to be a proven asset to his reputation and realizes the role they play in constructing the family home. Sam appreciates the employees, suppliers and specialists that all work together to accomplish satisfaction in fine workmanship for these families and communities, and considers them a vital part in the success of the building industry.
Sam’s wife Celia, is the broker/owner of the Real Estate Office in Jacksonville, AP Real Estate. The family operated company markets new and existing homes as well as other properties. Sam has always encouraged responsible workmanship, the industry in general is in need of craftsman. He recognizes his ability as God given and wants others to use their gifts in this vital Industry.
Sam and Celia have two daughters Melissa and Crystal, both graduates of Jacksonville State University. Melissa teaches Elementary Education, her husband, Duff Wagoner is a REALTOR at AP Real Estate and has a teaching degree as well, they have three children Sam-Parker, Thompson and Madison. Crystal worked with the American Red Cross and now is currently being a work at home mom, and her husband John-Paul Werner is an account manager with RJ Reynolds, Inc. and a REALTOR with AP Real Estate as well. They have two children Deacon and Mary Collins. We are all supporters of Calhoun County and reside in the Jacksonville area.
